There are no limits when playing as far as deck rules. No 45 or 60 count decks. Bring whatever you are comfortable with to learn or revise your assault. The better the miniatures the better things tend to look. I would say a cardboard box of 800 should be ok to bring what you need. If we have a quicker match we can always play again. It will take time to reset cards. Parking is a pain and I will watch if someone has too much to drink and will call a taxi. Music, I listen to anything. Patriotic, jazz, blues, rock, metal and some older rap. I have a five cd stereo so we can go back and forth on each players favorite albums and not have to stop to change cd's. If it is a 1 vs. 1 match, I get the 3rd cd....jk
Make sure you get your favorite cards going, I have bought four Alexander the Great cards from the History Channel game because in it's packet it has a weapon that are spears with a one space gap able to do one or more damage. The card face shows it clearly and would take a turn off the round by round die. There is another History Channel card like that from a Japanese warrior. The card is called,"Yumi." It has a two space advantage with two damage. They also have very unique characters, Amazonia is one that has the ability to have two support/weapon cards and that is also on the face of the card. Meaning she starts with two weapons before a link card is required. If you have more suggestions because you are a veteran rpg guy or gal and we play for awhile, maybe I can add yours with linking websites or if I have more room in the future on mine.
A support row card may be moved from the support row to a character(only way teleporters get support cards)after doing the three tap maneuver and all three spots are taken. It must state some logic on what it is and what it is about on it's face. Otherwords, if it doesn't make sense you can always place it on top of a support row card, leaving it only as back up if a player destroys or steals your card. Thus the old card would be the target.
Leaving a bomb or land mine kinda of stuff in a square requires a tap and the cards character to abandon that square, meaning you could have all but one square in the starting row booby trapped. Another engineer with the correct support card can win on a 2/6 die roll off. A weapon such as the History Channel Khan sword could work. Fog or land mine cards set that way will have a changing reserve mana health, if none on it's face. |
